Use of the Internet has become so common, that we as a society have started to take many things for granted. We assume that because we have the technology, we'll be able to access any website we want, whenever we want to go there. We've grown accustomed to a plugged-in lifestyle that requires the internet in order to function, all of which has been made possible because of Network Neutrality.

One year after its failed first attempt, the controversial Cyber Intelligence Sharing and Protection Act (CISPA) is making headlines across the country. The U.S. House of Representatives once again approved the bill last week, 288 to 127, moving it along to the Senate, where the threat of a Presidential veto looms heavily.

A little less than two weeks ago, Mozilla released Firefox 8, an update to Firefox for Windows, Mac, Linux users. According to the Mozilla blog, "this update includes new features that make Web browsing easier and give users and developers more control over how they customize their Web experience."

Twitter plans to roll out its redesign, aptly dubbed "New Twitter," randomly to users this Fall. Twitter users can sign up to receive a DM (Direct Message) when they've been converted to the redesigned Web interface.
