Colombo Travels to Texas
by systemColombo's presentation covered the history of the web as a business tool and the modern use of the 5 key elements (design and content, calls for action, functionality, tracking, and traffic) that make a website successful in today's internet marketplace.
"This was an educational piece for many of these advisors," Colombo said. "It lets them know what is going on out there and what tools they should be aware of as their younger competition jumps into the field armed to the teeth with web systems."
Every 360 PSG site operates on the Fission Web System, which contains powerful content management tools that give users with little or no experience or knowledge of websites and design the ability to add, update, and edit an unlimited number of content pages.
Colombo is hopeful that his Houston trip will lead to more speaking engagements in the future but does hope to stick closer to home.
"I loved it. I'm not a huge fan of airplanes, but the content, the crowd excitement, the question/answer portion, and the ability to feel like I helped some people understand a foreign subject is really great."
Headquartered in Buffalo, NY, 360 PSG continues to expand its staff and client base in 2009 providing websites to small to medium-sized businesses and non-profit organizations nationwide.
Colombo concluded, "As I focus on the amazing growth of 360, I would consider taking a few more engagements nationally but would much rather present to larger groups in our Buffalo headquarters region."
