'Blue Sky Meetings' lift spirits at Sienna Environmental Technologies

I have a personal story of a coworker.

At Sienna, we have been having bi-weekly virtual meetings with our entire company, as many businesses are. We are calling them our ‘blue sky meetings’ to remind us that brighter days are coming. In these meetings we cover the basics and then open up the floor to any personal things people would like to share. 

A week or so ago an employee told us that his daughter was having her kids write letters to himself and his wife, (gramma and grampa) as part of their at home schooling. She realized after they dropped them in the mail that they had forgotten postage, but a couple days later the letters showed up anyway! He is assuming the postage workers saw the letters addressed to gramma and grampa and made an exception.

Personally and professionally I have seen so many people stepping up and showcasing an overflowing amount of empathy. This horrible incident has unified us and now all of humanity has something in common.
